Terms & Conditions: Understanding The Fee Guarantee

At Satchells, we understand that purchasing a home is one of the most significant financial commitments you will ever make. We strive to provide you with the best possible service and support throughout the mortgage application process. To give you peace of mind, we offer our mortgage buyers the Satchells Fee Guarantee.

What Is the Fee Guarantee?

 

If your property purchase unfortunately falls through, you don’t need to worry about losing the initial fees you've paid. Our Fee Guarantee ensures that any fees initially paid to the brokerage, your solicitor, or your lender will be transferred to your next application or refunded when you secure a new property using our in-house mortgage services. This is our commitment to ensuring that you are not out of pocket due to unforeseen circumstances that prevent your property purchase from proceeding. The Guarantee is available on properties considered standard construction (brick-built, tile roof), and only availble on regulated mortgage applications.

 

Terms and Conditions

 

Eligibility: The Fee Guarantee applies to fees paid as part of the initial mortgage application process through Satchells Mortgage Services provided to us by our partners at More Financial. This includes fees paid to the broker, the recommended solicitor involved in the transaction (search fees only), and the lender providing the mortgage (basic application and survey fees only).

 

Transfer or Refund: If the purchase falls through, the fees will be either transferred to a new application or refunded at the point of your next purchase. The choice between transfer or refund will be made at Satchells Mortgage Services' discretion, depending on the circumstances and any agreements in place with third parties, such as solicitors and lenders.

Exclusions: The guarantee does not cover any additional costs or fees incurred outside of the initial application process, nor does it cover any losses resulting from non-disclosures or personal decisions to withdraw from the purchase.

 

Limitations: The guarantee is limited to the fees directly associated with the initial application through our recommended solicitors/lenders and does not include any secondary or subsequent fees that may arise.

 

No Formal Confirmation Needed: The absence of formal confirmation from the client regarding the acceptance of the Fee Guarantee terms does not exempt the client from its use or the conditions stated here.
